Torque support with elastomer body made of Urelast® minimizes wear in the transmission
Longer service life due to minimal wear make EFFBE elastomer springs in Urelast® the top component for transmission mounts in wind turbines. Transmission mounts for wind turbines (WT) are among the core competencies of the EFFBE experts. This is borne out by the currently more than 30,000 wind turbines in which our elastomer springs have now been installed. And the demand continues unabated. Reason: The unique material properties of the EFFBE Urelast® elastomer spring, embedded in our retrofit kit, significantly increase the service life of the transmission bearing, as this design results in minimal wear. Further advantages of this EFFBE transmission mounting: optimized spring stiffness compared to a rubber-to-metal laminated spring and the improved vibration reduction in the vicinity of the transmission support.
